Project Management Assistance

Site Survey

Before any project can commence, our team will conduct a site survey to assess the project site, noting the existing utility locations, drainage patterns and current architecture. This activity is required before any estimate or design work can begin.

Design Review

Whether you use a professional landscape architect or one of our talented designers, you will need to sign off on the proposed design project, including materials and project scope. Too many projects can fail when not properly documented and approved by the owner. We want to deliver exactly what you want.

Detailed Estimate

Once the overall design is approved, Park's Concrete Service will provide a detailed estimate for the project including costs, timelines and completion date. Of course, this is only an estimate and any unforeseen events or issues can alter the final cost and timeline up or down.

Project Installation

Now the actual work begins on delivering your new driveway, walkway, patio or retaining wall. As part of or project requirements, we will try to preserve as much of your existing "softscape" as we build your hardscape. Total site clean-up is included at the end of the project to your satisfaction.

Landscape Design Assistance

  1. A huge consideration when choosing hardscaping is its purpose.

    • Creating a walkway

    • Adding a seating area

    • Adding a fire pit or grilling area

    • Breaking up the landscape into sections to serve multiple purposes

  2. Concrete patios are the classic low-maintenance and versatile patio option. Think about a stamped pattern or colored concrete to accent your outdoor space.
  3. Make sure to scale everything from patios to pools, and fire pits to walkways so that when the hardscaping is installed, it all fits together to create a visually appealing and physically comforting space.
  4. Be sure your hardscaping is set in place so that the water from rains and snows can drain off and away from the home and your swimming pool.
  5. Make sure your hardscaping blends well with the rest of its surroundings. That doesn’t mean you have to use all of the same materials throughout, as mixing and matching different colors and textures is actually a good idea.
  6. Consider the seasonal changes and how your hardscape elements will look and react from the harsh differences in summer and winter.
